At Brightside Dental Studio we have nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, available as a mild sedative to use during your dental appointments. Nitrous oxide is frequently used to ease mild to moderate anxiety and can help to reduce pain. It is delivered using a small mask (hood) that fits over the nose and it is administered for the whole procedure to provide a calming effect.
At the end of the procedure, oxygen is administered to reverse the effects. Laughing gas is commonly used for younger patients, but is also available for use by anyone who requests it.
Brightside Dental Studio offers direct billing to insurance companies as a convenience to our patients. Dental insurance is intended to assist you with the payment of your dental care, however, there may be procedures that are not covered. As the insurance policy holder you are responsible to be aware of your coverage. Each plan varies significantly and we cannot keep track of everyone’s differing benefits. Please ensure that you are aware of all policy changes, yearly limits, deductibles, recall dates, and reset dates pertaining to your own policy for yourself, as well as any covered family members.
Brightside Dental Studio is not responsible for procedures that are not covered by your insurance, so if you have any concerns regarding this, please inquire with one of our staff members to see if a
pre-determination is needed prior to your scheduled appointment.

Invisalign is the "invisible" way to straighten teeth without braces.
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires.
Invisalign: Brace Alternative Benefits
Invisalign is clear. You can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing.
Invisalign is removable. Unlike braces, you can eat and drink what you want during treatment. You can also brush and floss normally to maintain good oral hygiene.
Invisalign is comfortable. There are no metal brackets or wires as with braces to cause mouth irritation, and no metal or wires means you spend less time in the doctor’s chair getting adjustments.
Invisalign allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan before you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
